A Journey To Healing

I left Dr. Giacchino’s home with the understanding that he was drunk and possibly unaware of what he was saying. At that point I decided to cease and desist in paying him any further monies. I was beginning to lose trust in my doctor. He was scaring me, so I pretended to be willing to continue making payments in order to prevent a dangerous confrontation. After all, he was purportedly a close friend to powerful Chicago gangsters who, according to the FBI, wanted to kill me.
Needless to say all these events put me in desperate need for solace and peace. In 2006 I turned to God more than ever by enrolling in a class to make my adult confirmation. I am proud to say that I was confirmed on June 19, 2006, in the presence of my sponsor, a very helpful and beloved friend.
Later in 2006, in a sadly desperate attempt to blatantly extort money, Dr. Giacchino left me a threatening message on my cell phone. He quite plainly said that I had better get him a large amount of ‘negotiable funds’ (money for his wife, no doubt) soon or he would essentially destroy me. He made good on his threats on September 11, 2006 (a rather interesting date) and another time in November of the same year, with the help of Joe Vasselli. I later discovered that a longtime Giacchino-medical office employee/supervisor was very close to the Vasselli family. This employee attended Joe Vasselli’s wedding in the 1970’s.
I have finally found the courage through Christ our Lord to bring the evil extortionist and HIPAA (privacy) offender, Dr. Joseph L. Giacchino Jr. M.D. to justice. He is now a defendant in a Cook County case (# 08 L 002162).
Please pray for my family which has been victimized by my former Doctor. I am especially concerned for my elderly relatives, whom he assailed so late in their lives, when such hardships can be deadly.
