Mr. Joseph L. Giacchino, Jr. – Your Request To …

On May 4, 2010, Mr. Joseph L. Giacchino, Jr. had his high-powered lawyer, former Cook County Chancery Judge Joseph Casciato, and other attorneys appear in a Chancery Court Room at the Daley Center in hopes of convincing Chancery Judge Leroy Martin, Jr. (son of former Superintendant of Chicago Police) to temporarily reinstate Giacchino’s suspended Illinois medical license. It was a spectacular failure. According to a source, Giacchino’s legal team was nearly thrown out of the courtroom. The whole instance was colored in a humorous light because Giacchino’s attorneys purportedly walked into the courtroom as if they were O.J. Simpson’s Dream Team. Unfortunately for Giacchino, this Dream Team was a total nightmare.

Former Judge Joseph Casciato

It probably did not help that former Judge Joseph Casciato is a major crony of Chicago Outfit Boss John “No Nose” DiFronzo.

In an earlier hearing that day at the Illinois Building, the Illinois Department of Professional Regulations held their first prosecution hearing against Giacchino. The state will be calling nearly 20 prosecution witnesses to prove their case against Dr. Feelgood. I am unsure of the number of defense witnesses that might be called by Giacchino’s lawyers. The hearings are expected to last for one or two weeks.

If my memory serves me correctly, the Illinois Department of Professional Regulations relied on roughly a third of the number of the current prosecution witnesses when they yanked Giacchino’s medical license the last time.

KTF Media Group will soon be in possession of the transcripts of the public hearings on the Giacchino matter. We will publish the transcripts of Giacchino’s hearings in toto.

    There is only one thing that has puzzled me about this situation with Dr. G and that is how could an educated man be so careless? Certainly he knew the risks associated with what he was doing. He had to know that his medicle practice was at risk and also his income. I don’t get it?

Im starting to believe that the MPC is wanting Dr. G’s patients to think that he will return soon, but Im starting to see it doesn’t look like its going to be that simple at all. I am really starting to see both sides of the issue now… really a terrible situation.

      Yes, Giacchino is in denial. He likely believes that he will win the case against him and be a doctor again, very soon. In the meantime, he is unwilling to help his patients find new doctors because he does not want to lose his patients/income – despite the enormously strong likeliness that he will NEVER practice medicine ever again. Apparently, he will have to see it to understand it – very soon.

      The prosecution hearings are open to the public on the ninth floor of the Illinois Building in Chicago.

      I will continue to keep you informed of future developments.

    I am a long time patient of dr. G, I would like to say that my father a Chicago police high ranking officer has accompanyed me to several appointments with dr. G, this is all lies based on some old 1980′s case that someone tried to screw him and lost and still trying n lieing to gain personal satisfaction for an old vendetta. I would gladly put myself and father as a defense witness to help aid dr. G in any way. I personally seen him tell patients they did not need these certain meds any longer and he would not contribute to thier addictions!His friends should not make people prejude and make up phony accusations with payoffs!

      It is nice of you to offer to help Giacchino. I disagree with you, as I know Giacchino is truly a bad person (wait until you read my next piece); however, I can appreciate your opinion. Giacchino needs all the help he can get. In my opinion, nothing will save him from justice – neither you nor your high-ranking Chicago Police father.

            Erik was arrested again on Dec 15,2010 and is being held in Cook county jail, without bond.
            Does anyone know what the false accusations against him are now?

            Dear Erik’s friend,
            Mr. Zalkus is being held with ‘no bond’ at the Cook County Jail on charges of Unlawful Use of a Weapon. It pertained to a domestic matter. Apparently, he stopped going to court on the matter – the initial arrest occurred in 2009. Therefore, it looks like a bond forfeiture situation. The idiot might have messed up things when he was being held in DuPage.

      Giacchino has three children. His oldest is in his late 20′s (approximately). Giacchino had his oldest with his first wife Dr. Dado. And, Giacchino has two daughters with his current wife – the porn star – Maria Luisa Gil Giacchino. His oldest daughter will be 6-years old in July and the youngest is less than one year.

      I would bet that Giacchino has to pay his wife the exact same amount of money that he pays his lawyers in order to keep her. At least I remember that Maria. Too bad the money is probably coming from Dr. Codini (Giacchino’s sister) and Dr. Dado (Giacchino’s ex-wife), in my opinion – now that Giacchino needs to be collecting unemployment.

    ginny, I wish you luck in just getting your medical records released by his clinics. Don’t be surprised if they ‘disappered’ misteriously like mine seem to have. My doctor is Demorest, and that have a grudge with him so his patients are now suffering because of Mr.G.

    Erik Zalkus- give me a break. My uncle,and dad were state cops. My bf parents are both cops from the surrounding towns of these clinics, and you are wrong. He is known by friends of ours of his touchy feely fixation. My mom watched as he wrote out a prescription for her meds using another doctors script and signed the doctors name on it and handed it to her in front of me. She even question him on it. This was during the time he first lost his right to write prescriptions. He even acted shocked the time I questioned the medicine he prescribed for my sick daughter, when my doctor was not in that day, and said how no one ever questioned him about what the meds were that he prescribed and was shocked and impressed by that fact.

    I for one am thrilled that he will no longer be enabling the addicts pill popping problems. Maybe now these people will be forced to get into a rehabilitation center and get the proper help that they need.

    Good luck to the true in need of medical treatment patients of Dr. Demorest, and Mr. G in getting any medical records released from either two of the clinics River Grove and Melrose Park. The 2 women in charge under Mr. G, the records department woman and manger woman who I’m sure are getting a piece of whatever is left of Mr. G’s financial pie, you’ll have to fight to get your medical records you have a legal right to get. I pray no one ever hires those two women. They are just as bad as the now unlicensed Mr. G.

    Mr. Fosco,

    Around 2004, I was an employee of the Melrose Park Clinic (on the dental side). Still, I was able to witness “first hand” much of what you report regarding Dr. Giacchino. The blatant racism, lack of morals and professional ethics, and lets not forget to mention “Dr” Giacchino being quite a “character”. I almost could not contain my laughter when I first met him (Bleach blond spiky hair, with Geroge Hamilton tan, and Prince -the singer- style high heeled booties). This was the “boss”? I could not believe that this person, who used such foul language, and lacked such professionalism and ethics, was not only in charge, but managed to complete a career in medicine. As a rookie, I was well informed on all the rumors and facts regarding Dr. Giacchino and his “classy” wife. Ha! Anything for money. They are perfect for each other. I can’t wait to see how long she holds on, until she jumps ship with boatloads of cash. Correct me if I am wrong…Dr. Dado, the dentist? His first wife? Really? Wow. I worked with her daily and can not believe these two very different personalities were ever even speaking let alone married. Working at this place was like walking into a bad cheesy mobster flick. I not only heard patients’ accounts of horror stories from Giacchino and other “doctors” (including Demorest), but alos heard them speaking amongst themselves about ALL that you report in all their glory, with their foul language and lack of class and education. The total absence of any moral values or Hipocratic oath and ethics is a more correct statement when it came to Giacchino and much of his staff. The way they would laugh and tear apart the private confidential issues or aspects of their patients was, to put it softly, horrifying. I should state that not only Giacchino and many of his MDs were of this “shady” class, but also some of his DDS (dental) staff. I especially recall one in particular, for whom I worked directly with (at the River Grove location frequented by Maria Giacchino), that was extremely close to Giacchino (I’m sure, the brown nosing was mostly to keep such a high profit business) and also followed Giacchino’s pattern of prescribing narcotics for cash.

    Well, what can I say now…I’m not only not surprised, I’m so happy to see that God’s justice comes through sooner or later. No matter how many influential people one knows, how many threats one makes, or how high one’s relatives rank in federal, state, law or any government position. (heehee).

    Thank you so much for showing the world that justice prevails, and for being brave enough to confront them all. Congratulations Mr. Fosco. I should add, I didn’t last 6 months there… as a tri-lingual, Latina, Chicago native, and psychologist in the making at the time, I just couldn’t take it anymore. Thank God!

    What makes any of you think that Dr. G’s porn star wife cares? According to the articles I’ve read by Mr. Fosco she is a convicted felon drug dealer. Usually those types of people are not all that sensitive to maritial infidelities. After all she gets paid to have sex with other people also..right? She

    I was a pt of Dr. G’s & had a very hard time finding a doctor that would take me just b/c I was a patient of Dr. G’s but I found FORUM PAIN MANAGEMENT CLINIC w/ Dr. Patodia she then took me off of everything Dr. G had me on & switched all meds. I feel so much better w/ my new meds. I was even diagnoised w/ a serious nerve condition that Dr. G SHOULD have noticed within the 3 years i was seeing him instead he just wanted me to take more narcotics instead of a specific nerve medication (that im now on & feeling 90% better). I now realize that Dr. G was seriously just scammin my insurace co. for the money.

    The funny part about all of this is that only one part of what G was doing is listed. I’ve had two buddies and heard G with my owe ears couching patients on what to tell employers and insurence companies what to say so they would be more apt to settle out of court so him and his lawyer would get large one time fee each.

    On the same corupt subject, though some would call this a good thing, G at times set up adoptions with younger patients that would want to give their babies up for adoption. This is part good for both sides but I won’t tell you how much G charged out of fear that he could figure out the source…

    Well now my eyes are finally open. I have been off the pills for 4 months now (not from a lack of trying to score) and I cant believe what that Dr put me thru. I feel like I have a new lease on life, I have been promoted, and my family relationship has never been better.No more percs, xanies,V’s,demerol and what ever else I use to get as easily as walking to the store for smokes. I will pray for you Dr. I know you didnt do what you did to “hurt” people purposfully, but the greed blinded you to the point you didnt know you where.

    Joseph Giacchino is not in prison yet. However, the State of Illinois revoked his medical license. Currently, Giacchino allegedly manipulates the system as a pretend receptionist in his former clinic (Melrose Park Clinic), while aiding the controversial Dr. Paul Madison.
    In addition, Giacchino found a couple of lawyers that (in my opinion) enjoy representing a drug pusher (GIacchino) because he has wealthy relatives who will help fill their pockets with money. Through these lawyers, Giacchino filed a lawsuit against the State of Illinois in a ridiculously desperate attempt to regain his license.
