Where Is Dr. Giacchino’s Cash Fortune?

My sources informed me that Dr. Joseph L. Giacchino, Jr, MD, has issued over 12 thousand prescriptions for narcotic pain medicine in the year 2008 alone. I have further learned that Giacchino charges anywhere from $200 to $400.00 per visit (for scripts) and is mostly paid in cash. Once you do the math, you will see 2008 was a great year for Giacchino.

According to Giacchino, his clinics brought in roughly four million a year prior to the opening of his ‘pain-management’ division in early 2007. He made the bulk of that money on automobile accident cases – physical therapy.

For years Giacchino paid himself a 270 thousand dollar a year salary. Aside from that he has spent a couple of million bucks on his family, his other women and himself personally every year, all at the expense of his clinics. I would think the IRS would have an issue with this.

My question is where does he keep the loot? Does he keep it at his River Forest Estate at 1026 North Lathrop Avenue, in one of those huge safes that he prominently displays? Does he keep the money in the huge safe at the Melrose Park Clinic at 1252 Winston Plaza, Melrose Park? Or could Giacchino be stashing his loot inside his penthouse loft at 420 West grand Avenue, Chicago? I am wondering because it intrigues me. I am confident that he has not paid taxes on the money. Therefore, it must still be in cash form.

Where does someone with that kind of cash hide it? Perhaps it is in a safety deposit box. No matter where his cash is buried, I pray the U.S. Government is able to locate the hidden treasure in order to satisfy any seizure judgments after his (not so far off) indictment and conviction.

  1. I never realized that Giacchino had that kind of cash lying around. He better hope that burglars do not take it from him. What a score that would be for a couple of starving thieves.

  2. Last time an Outfit home was burglarized in River Forest, IL, the (suspected) burglary crew was found murdered. At least one was found with his castrated member in mouth.

  3. Yes, St. Nick, that was the work of John DiFronzo, Giacchino’s purported partner.

  4. votive holder on

    Joe, you are right again.

According to master thief Robert “Bobby the Beak” Siegel, Johnny “No Nose” DiFronzo disseminated a rumor among well-known thieves about t a great score of gold coins.

The ones who went for his bait were never heard from again.

John Mendall was found dead tortured and knifed to death in the trunk of a car.

And has already been pointed out: Vincent Moretti was found castrated and disemboweled.

His associate, Donald Renno, was also massacred to death with a knife.

    This list goes on.

Over the last 30 or more years, there has been a preponderance of knife and strangulation murders tied to the Outfit.

  5. The knife and strangulation murders are largely the work of John DiFronzo.

To think that the toughest federal prosecutor in the land gave this killer a pass during the Family Secrets trial is enough to make me consider circulating a petition asking the President to replace him. Pulling Blago out of his home at 6AM was far less important than ignoring incriminating testimony in the Family Secrets trial linking Difronzo to a double murder. The U.S. Attorney’s Office has clearly abetted a killer. The U.S. Attorney’s Office should have indicted DiFronzo the second the jury decided the testimony of Calabrese was credible.

  6. Joseph Fosco:

I have doubted the very existence of this Dr. Giacchino character from the very beginning. The whole thing just seemed too far-fetched.

So, without identifying myself or referencing this blog, I called the Melrose Park Clinic you have mentioned so many times, in an effort to verify that Dr. Giacchino is a real person.

A receptionist answered the phone, and I politely asked whether or not Dr. Joseph L. Giacchino, Jr., MD is a real person; and, if so, whether or not he associated with the clinic.

The receptionist responded with an inquiry as to exactly how much free time I have on my hands. She then confirmed that there is indeed a Dr. Joseph L. Giacchino, Jr., MD associated with the clinic.

The receptionist also suggested that my time and efforts might be better spent investigating whether or not I was born out of my mother’s a–.

Before hanging up, I could hear at least two individuals (male and female) laughing hysterically in the background. I swear I heard the noise of someone slapping his or her knee or, possibly, a countertop.

Needless to say, I now believe that there is a Dr. Giacchino.

Is this what passes as professionalism in practicing medicine these days?

  7. Dear Morey,
You could have simply visited the State of Illinois’ Department of Financial and Professional Regulations website and searched Giacchino’s medical license status. However, I am pleased that you received a small taste of what I am talking about. Dr. Giacchino, in my opinion, has lost his mind. Any reasonable person can see this. However, Giacchino’s power with State Senator Jimmy DeLeo and the Outfit obviously keeps his medical license on the wall. Shame on you Illinois! I am ashamed to be a resident of this State.

  8. That is some pretty foul language, and not very lady-like. Have they ever used language like that toward you?

  9. Dear Morey,
I would have to start another website in order to cover all of the inappropriate behavior that I know took place at Giacchino’s clinics. The women in the office never insulted me to my face, as I was a friend of their boss (back then). However, they have said plenty about me behind my back. A spy told me. I do not let it bother me. You have seen what kind of people they are.

  10. you never explained why you sat down to lunch with John Kass or why dr giocchino paid the bill? did john kass interview you for something?

did dr. giocchino drug you, for real? because, if so, that is something a mad scientist would do–like out of a horror or sci-fi movie.

  11. Dear G-Speed,
I was sent to Tuscany restaurant in Oak Brook to have lunch with John Kass because Giacchino wanted me to address the (then recent) criminal arrest I sustained for misdemeanor phone harassment by Jack P. Cerone. Yes, Giacchino advised me to take something he gave me that would calm me prior to my lunch date (medication). Giacchino mentioned that he would take care of the lunch tab via his credit card over the phone. All I remember about the lunch is Kass was upset that someone mysteriously paid the lunch bill. Giacchino thought that if I could churn a headline, he might be able to escape his partnership with the Outfit, but maintain a good relation with them to continue helping me with the protection money that I had to pay.
The phone harassment arrest by Cerone was merely a tactic to turn the tables to challenge my credibility, as things were beginning to heat up quite a bit with the extortion situation. I am grateful that Judge Garritt Howard obviously saw what was going on. A Cerone claiming to be harassed by phone, when in the messages that I left on his voice mail clearly had me addressing the Outfit Hit on my life, would be laughable for a competent judge to convict me. I did not sustain a criminal conviction for that ridiculous arrest. If only U.S. Judge Harry Leinenweber’s court clerks were more like Judge Howard, the DiFronzo’s would have been brought to justice last month in my civil RICO case.

  12. I was always unclear as to the reasoning and motive behind your sending of that ghastly skull to Cerone–the on with his late father’s dob/dod date ranged penciled-in across the forehead. Was Giocchino the one who orchestrated that?

  13. In my previous comment, I menat to say Judge Leinenweber’s ‘law’ clerks, not court clerks. I am sorry. Thank you.

  14. Dear G-Speed,
Giacchino orchestrated almost everything that I did, then. I often wondered if what he was making me do was wise or not. I was desperate to remain alive. Giacchino convinced me that he was keeping me alive. I questioned him sometimes and he always had a reason that made sense for the things that he would tell me to do. Listening to someone and knowing they are a doctor sometimes makes you give that person the benefit of the doubt. For one, doctors are intelligent, and two, they have a certain level of respect that is commanded by their position.
I have taken my entire life to the public domain so I could prevent others from falling in to the trap that caught my family and me.

    • I hear you repeatedly state that other people “made you” do things. Joe, you also describe doctors as being intelligent in a manner suggesting that your “lack of intelligence” prevented you from realizing what you were doing and there-by releasing you of responsibility. That’s pathetic. You shouldn’t be let out of your house for threat to the public’s safety since anyone could tell you to do something and you’d do it. Why didn’t you say “no?” Were you afraid of something??? Move outta state. BE A MAN. OWN YOUR CHOICES. You put yourself in whatever position you’re refusing to take responsibility for.

      • Dear Maynard,
I have owned my poor choice of going along with Dr. Giacchino when he used the FBI’s notification to us that my life was in danger, thus allowing Giacchino to involve himself in my personal matters as if he were genuinely attempting to save my life and not join the criminal suspects in their extortion plot against me. Thank you.

        PS-
For the record, I never let just ‘anyone’ tell me to do something and did it. My friend, doctor, and ruthless murderous criminals, unfortunately, were able to coerce me into doing things that I would otherwise not consider. Living under duress by the likes of killers and other felons is not a reasonable way to live. Until you have experienced such victimization, please refrain from issuing advice on matters that you are inexperienced with. Again, thank you.

        • Again Joe, you’re failing to accept that you knew who you were “friends” with from the beginning. It shouldn’t be surprising that this is how your relationship(s) with these people, (friends or not), turned out the way it has. You also keep saying how you’re living under duress. If things are so bad, I fail to understand your past and present attacks on the people who made your life so un-safe to begin with. Aren’t you simply providing these dangerous people with ammunition to possibly do something as terrible as you say they are capable of doing?? Just seems like common sense to me. I don’t know anyone involved in this matter and only stumbled upon it while reading a story about this doctor. These people may be bad and you may be a victim- So why wouldn’t you think all these verbal and legal threats (or statements) you’re making against this doctor and mob associates wouldn’t make your situation even more dangerous?? You continually change the story to suit whatever point you’re trying to make.
Also, your response was filled with multiple fundamental grammatical and punctuation errors. This, to me, is embarrassing for someone running a media publication. The errors detract from the author’s professional credibility- my opinion.

          • Dear Maynard,
I accept that I was friends with a doctor. Never did I think knowing a doctor would cause me to be extorted.
My articles have kept me alive, as the heat that I put on these killers keeps them away from me, obviously. Take it up with the FBI if you doubt my assertion that my life was threatened. Would the FBI misinform me?
If you think my story has changed somewhere, point out the change and show us – expose me.
I admit that I kibitz in the comment threads the same way I speak, which is not as well as I write when I publish articles. However, when I publish an article, I am usually on my toes. I do not read stuff that I do not like. Perhaps you should stop reading my articles and comments. The comment threads are a place for me to let my hair down and chat a bit.
Were you reading about the doctor because you are sorry to see what has happened to him?

  15. Giacchino is sounding more and more like the Abominable Dr. Giacchino, or something like that. Maybe if the state revokes his medical license, he can apply for a mad scientist license or something, as Godspeed observed. I’m sure if he framed it, it would be a good fit amongst the Gacy artwork you have described.

The skull episode was something he cooked up, eh? What exactly was the message supposed to be, I wonder? Or was it just black-humor, creepy goofing-around kind of thing–just goosing Cerone to let him know you were there.

Irregardless, the Abominable Doctor should be ashamed of his behavior.

  16. Dear Morey,

    The Abominable Dr. Giacchino indeed.

The skull incident is actually a lot less of a sinister move than it appeared. There was a private joke that old man Cerone looked like Jackie Coogan from the Adam’s Family Television Show, who played the character Uncle Fester – coupled with Jack P. Cerone who had busts made of his late father – the Outfit boss – that resembled Jackie Coogan. They even have the same initials – JC. Jack P. Cerone keeps a bust of his dad at his law office and he used to keep one at his restaurant before it closed down. We thought sending the Uncle Fester head would be a silly prank. Giacchino thought it would help me somehow; I am ashamed to admit that I believed Giacchino – I was desperate for his protection – I was distracted from exercising better judgment. Today I am embarrassed that I took part in such high school behavior. I am sorry.

Cerone never thought I was at the grand opening party the Coogan bust was sent to because a private messenger service delivered it. The most amusing part of this story is that Johnny DiFronzo was aware of it before it took place and he approved of it. As I have said before, DiFronzo despises Jack P. Cerone. The only reason Jack P. Cerone received the Outfits support in relation to the extortion of me is Rudy Fratto.

Ruddy maintained a strong relationship with Jack P. Cerone because of Cerone’s wealth. Fratto does not like Cerone either, but Fratto latches on to wealthy people when he can. I guess one could never have too many wealthy friends.

  17. I know you are embroiled in serious situation with organized crime figures. It is definitely not funny.

What is funny, though, is some of the asinine and hilarious comments on here. I’m sure Morey (above) is a good guy, and even though it was totally unprofessional, I thought what Giacchino’s receptionist said to him about ‘investigating’ the origins of his birth is pretty amusing.

Amidst all your troubles, I hope this website offers you moments of levity now and again.

  18. Dear Portman,
Embroiled is not the word, I feel broiled – as in cooked.
This site does offer me moments of levity now and again.
    Thanks for your kind message.
    Best wishes,
    JF

  19. Dear Joe:

I have two questions about KTF Media Group.

    1. Seeing as KTF has been getting some attention lately, I was wondering if either you or Alex might consider publishing an article hashing out “rules” for KTF readers.

I’ve noticed that one reader, Vic, recently made a few comments that were accompanied by an avatar. I myself have a few different avatars, and would very much like to use them here. The problem is that they are very sexually explicit (pornographic).

Of course, all of images themselves are legal and, um, heterosexual. (Although, I suppose one could argue that this one particular image makes a subtle homosexual suggestion).

    2. Also, do you, as publisher of KTF, prescribe any kind of guidelines governing reader “behavior” while he or she is reading your articles? For instance, I sometimes read blog entries and articles while I’m wearing casual clothing, maybe pajamas, or even just underwear. Other times, the television might be on in the background, featuring a movie with profane dialogue, or perhaps even a pornographic film.

I understand that not everyone wants their blog read in these contexts, so I just wanted to check first. I want to be respectful and avoid offending you or any of your contributors.

    Thanks, and great blog.

  20. Dear Moby,
KTF is not going to issue rules for comments. We expect our commenter’s to be appropriate and use common sense. KTF will simply delete any comment that is inappropriate, without explanation.

  21. It sounds like fosco was denied by dr G and is now trying to get back at him like a jealous lover I bring my children to see G and he’s fine would you rather his patients buy the drugs on the streets or rob and hurt people to get them or maybe rob a pharmacy people like you need to get a life and leave everyone else to their own devises

  22. Personally, I thought the Uncle Fester and the holiday greeting cards were very funny. The timing of the Uncle Fester bust delivered by messenger at his party along with the cards was genious. To this day I still laugh about it. As far as the doctors office telling him to investagate his own anal birth, very unprofessional but also very funny. You have to appreciate good humor even the distasteful

  23. Excuse me, “Laughing” and “Portman”

But I take strong exception to your comments. There is absolutely nothing funny about the remark Dr. Giacchino’s receptionist made to me that day over the telephone. Only an utterly depraved human being could think up such a sordid, repulsive wisecrack on the spot like that. It makes you wonder where a person’s mind is, you know? And to think that a woman—as opposed to a man–was able to conjure up such a thoroughly demented suggestion really is well beyond what I consider to be the agreed-upon standards of decency.

If you want to know the truth, I had trouble sleeping for about two days after the incident because I literally could not purge that image from my mind. (You know what I am talking about.)

The most disturbing part of the whole incident, however, is the fact that this woman had an audience that apparently found her remark to be howlingly funny. As stated in my original comment: simple laughter was clearly not enough to express their approval and enjoyment of her “joke,” as I could clearly hear someone slapping his or her knee and/or rolling around on the floor in the background. I supposed it is not unrealistic to imagine that everyone present was barely able to speak for some time due to the amount of vigorous laughter taking place.

Readers, I ask you: what is this world coming to?

Joseph Fosco, I would like to respectfully ask if you have any ideas as to who you think could have made this remark to me. I am asking because you are a former colleague of the Abominable Doktor and his staff. I honestly believe that whoever I spoke with on the telephone that day is, without question, a first-rate candidate for exorcism.

  24. Dear Morey,
Your eloquent way of being sarcastic comes off somewhat humorous at times – please do not be offended. I have no idea who you were talking to when you phoned the clinic. His office staff changes frequently. Although, I have heard that his wife’s relatives are working at the clinic. Perhaps it was someone from his extended family that is paid to answer the phone.

  25. Dear Joseph,

I am not offended by your comment at all.

But please, let me be clear: I consider the receptionist who I spoke with on the telephone to be a kind of pervert. Not a “sexual” pervert, per se (as the word is typically understood in common parlance). What I mean is that her beastly remark was an outright perversion of propriety, manners, and professionalism. Such conduct is an abomination, to be sure. Which just reinforces my characterization of Giacchino as the Abominable Doktor.

Laugh if you will, fellow readers.
But until the day comes when someone invites you to ‘investigate” such an abhorrent thing, as this receptionist did to me, you cannot imagine the inability to think clearly or hold food down, or even the profound difficulty in just going about your day like a normal person.

At this point, I will drop the subject, as writing about it requires that I cast my mind back to that fateful day, and reliving that telephone call is an unmitigated hell.

Honestly, I would rather hit myself in the head with a hammer.

  26. thanks, i think i will enjoy a good laugh at that. sorry.

joe, out of giacchino, cerone, fratto, and the difronzos, who do you consider to be the main target of your efforts in your capacity of writer and publisher of your website?

also, did you ever find out the identity of the 2 outfit members who were allegedly involved in the murder threat?

(not that i would know, but it seems like if john difronzo has disassociated himself from the outfit, how could he be comfortable enough to hand down a murder contract. it seems like your ‘outta the woods’ as far as the threat on your life.)

  27. Dear Cup,

My focus as a writer and publisher is on corruption – not any specific person.

Which murder threat are you referring to? If you are referring to the recent threats against my life, I know the identity of one of the offenders. However, I am not at liberty to divulge that information here at this time.

I can see your point about Johnny DiFronzo appearing as if he is out of commission. However, would you consider John Gacy safe if he stopped dressing like a clown?

  28. weren’t there 2 outfit guys who the FBI told you were conspiring to murder you, but they wouldn’t give you their names for whatever reasons? anyway, that’s what i was referring to. thanks.

  29. Dear Cup,
No. The FBI would not go in to details of any kind about the identity of the individuals attempting to kill me. My attorney handled the conversation. After it was over, my attorney informed me that Organized Crime members were conspiring to murder me, according to the FBI.

  30. Morey, I cant believe a quick witted woman made you lose sleep by making a joke about you. You called it perverted, I call it wit.Maybe I have developed a thick skin over the years, you see I come from a very large family and was tourtured by older family members which I believe made me who I am today and rounded my sence of humor. I suggest you grow some balls and suck it up, get over it.

  31. dear all,

there has been some speculation that Dr. Giaccino is using his lathrop home to run a brothel, what are your inputs on this matter? If you know anything, contact me at fetch518@aim.com.
    Thanks,
    Makin

  32. Dear Meowth,

In my opinion, any home Dr. Giacchino’s wife – former porn star, prostitute and current drug dealer, Maria Luisa Gil Giacchino – lives in would automatically be considered a brothel. In addition, nothing would surprise me about the disgraced Dr. Giacchino. Their family home at 1026 North Lathrop Avenue in River Forest, Illinois, is also the home of the world’s only John Wayne Gacy Art Gallery.

  33. Dear Readers,

Please be advised the comment dated today at 5:40 PM, displays a bogus email address.

  34. Obviously a troll/crank trying to bait you and your readers. I wouldn’t be surprised if whoever posted that is trying to facilitate a libel/defamation suit. I’m familiar with MLG Giacchino’s past, but I think you might have gone too far in your characterization of her. Can you please qualify your description of her?

  35. No kidding! If Joe Fosco doesn’t get hit with a lawsuit stemming from his 6 o’clock comment, I am convinced that Dr. Giacchino, his wife, and their attorneys have no idea what the Internet is. Mrs. Gil-Giacchino was never a porn star (there is a difference between pornography and nakedity), and your claim that she is a current drug dealer is unfounded. How any man could allow his wife to be smeared like this on the Internet is beyond me!!!

  36. Dear Vic,

The same thing crossed my mind – a setup.

You know I have the capability of removing my earlier comment, and/or qualifying it as you suggested. In fact, I could print a retraction as well. However, I will do none of the above. What I will do is provide readers with the phone number of Giacchino’s lawyer. It is (312) 454-5134. The lawyer is Joe Casciato. Anyone that wishes to bring the scandalous comment to the attention of Giacchino’s lawyer, please knock your socks off.

Lawsuits are merely a process that some of us come to deal with quite comfortably. I have evidence to support my assertions and welcome the opportunity to have my day in court to prove that I am a good journalist.

Barry, thank you for your opinion, however, I will be okay, whether you agree or not.

  37. Dear Barry,

What evidence do you have that Maria Gil Giacchino has not been involved in the act of delivering a controlled substance recently, unlawfully? I have evidence that she has.

What evidence do you have that Maria Gil Giacchino has not been involved in prostitution? I have evidence that she has.

As to Maria Gil Giacchino being called a porn star, I did fumble the ball. She was never a star. She was nothing more than a less than ordinary porn entertainer. A star is glamorous. Gil was a flop.

    Definition of Pornography:

    1) Films, magazines, writings, photographs, or other materials that are sexually explicit and intended to cause sexual arousal.

    2) Films, magazines, writings, photographs, or other materials that are sexually explicit and intended to cause sexual arousal.

Barry, I believe you are making libelous statements in defending Gil.

  38. Explain to me what statement I made that can be construed as libel, please. Also, I’d like to point out that you didn’t provide a legal definition of pornography. You provided a definition originally published by Microsoft in its Encarta Encyclopedia, 2007. I guess it kind of works for the purposes of your argument, and that’s why you went with it here.

  39. By the way, smart guy. The burden of proof is on YOU to demonstrate that she is currently involved in drug dealing. Not me. I’ve seen you bully around your hangers-on with your cheap shell games and fake legal mumbo jumbo, but it’s not going to work on me.

  40. Dear Barry,

I was joking about your statements being libelous. I meant that declaring Gil innocent was in fact false.

    Legal definition of Pornography:

The representation in books, magazines, photographs, films, and other media of scenes of sexual behavior that are erotic or lewd and are designed to arouse sexual interest.

Pornography is the depiction of sexual behavior that is intended to arouse sexual excitement in its audience. During the twentieth century, Americans debated whether pornographic material should be legally protected or banned. Those who believe pornography must be protected argue that the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution guarantees freedom of expression, including sexual expression. Traditional opponents of pornography raise moral concerns, arguing that the First Amendment does not protect expression that corrupts people’s behavior. Toward the end of the century, some feminists advocated suppressing pornography because it perpetuates gender stereotypes and promotes violence against women.

Pornography has been regulated by the legal standards that govern the concept of Obscenity, which refers to things society may consider disgusting, foul, or immoral, and may include material that is blasphemous. Pornography is limited to depictions of sexual behavior and may not be obscene.

The U.S. Supreme Court has established that obscenity is not protected by the First Amendment. The more troublesome question has been defining what is and is not obscene. In 1957, the U.S. Supreme Court, in ROTH V. UNITED STATES, 354 U.S. 476, 77 S. Ct. 1304, 1 L. Ed. 2d 1498, stated that obscenity is “utterly without redeeming social importance” and therefore is not protected by the First Amendment. The Roth test for obscenity is “whether to the average person, applying contemporary community standards, the dominant theme of the material taken as a whole appeals to a prurient [lewd or lustful] interest.” The Roth test proved difficult to use because every term in it eluded a conclusive definition.

The Supreme Court added requirements to the definition of obscenity in a 1966 case involving the English novel Memoirs of a Woman of Pleasure, more commonly known as Fanny Hill. In A Book Named “John Cleland’s Memoirs of a Woman of Pleasure” v. Attorney General, 383 U.S. 413, 86 S. Ct. 975, 16 L. Ed. 2d 1, the Court concluded that to establish obscenity, the material must, aside from appealing to the prurient interest, be “utterly without redeeming social value” and “patently offensive because it affronts contemporary community standards relating to the description of sexual matters.” The phrase “utterly without redeeming social value” allowed a loophole for pornographers. Expert witnesses

  41. The witnesses that I would call in my defense to libel, if the Giacchino’s are dumb enough to push that angle, have never been convicted of felonies, unlike Maria Luisa Gil Giacchino, who is a convicted felon/drug dealer.

  42. Oh, OK. So this is how the debate ends, once again, with Joe Fosco, Publisher of KTF Media Group? You copy and paste the “legal” definition of pornography from Farlex’s Free (Legal) Dictionary hoping, praying, and assuming that it settles everything, in an effort to convince me (and the other readers) that you have won? By the way, if you admit that the onus is on you and not me, why would you go ahead and ask me if I have evidence “that Maria Gil Giacchino has not been involved in the act of delivering a controlled substance recently, unlawfully?” If you know better, why you attempt to put it on me? SHELL GAME.

  43. Right she’s been convicted of drug dealing. You called her a “current drug dealer.”

  44. Dear Barry,

I was merely having a conversation with you, responding to your comments. If it upsets you, I will gladly discontinue engaging in conversation with you on the thread. The shell game you mention is nonexistent.

  45. Dear Barry,

Maria Gil Giacchino is a longtime drug dealer and a convicted drug dealer. She has dealt drugs well after her release from prison, which is recent.

  46. OK, OK, OK, and you have the goods on her, of course, and nobody else knows. And you’re a crime fighter and an investigator and a pro se litigator, and only if everyone in law enforcement and the mainstream media had the sources you have in your back pocket. Yadda yadda yadda.

Listen, guy. Your whole deal is this:
Like everyone else, you have enemies. But you also have this website, which provides you with a platform to make some serious claims and allegations against them. These claims and allegations are often so serious that your own audience warns you that your words could precipitate legal actions against you. You appear to be intelligent enough to understand this. By some miracle, or divine intervention, this has not yet happened. And God bless you for that.
But your trick, your whole gimmick, is that you imply that you have all of this smoking gun evidence, and sworn testimony, and all of these sources, etc, etc, etc. And the truth is that you don’t. You simply don’t. If you did, you would have already put it to use. You would have already put it to use and made it work for your own benefit.

Joe, you can make every excuse in the world for why you are not yet ready to present the evidence, or how you acquired it, or why your civil case was dismissed, and so on, until the cows come home. But it is starting to come across as just plain old silliness. You’re coming across as a guy who will do whatever it takes to get attention.

You are a purveyor of bawdy gossip and “inside mob news” even though your “inside news” is routinely debunked by some of your readers who are just everyday armchair mob-watchers.

Your writing has gone from being interesting to being a spectacle to being objectionable. If this website is around in thirty years, you’ll be publishing the same stuff about the same people, and you’ll still have readers popping in asking you off-topic questions about who runs Chinatown or something because you’ve somehow managed to string them along all this time. It’s getting very, very, very old.

  47. Dear Barry,

Some of what you say seems convincing; most of what you say is baseless. Either way, I thank you for your opinion. Thank you for revisiting my site and spending your time on me. You are an interesting person.

  48. Joe, what do you really think would happen if one of your readers called Giacchino, or his attorney, or forwarded all your writing to them?
Is the damning evidence you purport to have going to be enough to deter the doctor–the person whom you pose a major threat to, as far as the ability to practice medicine, legally–from suing your ass?

  49. Most of what I say is baseless? That’s funny coming from you. Please expose my baselessness.

  50. Dear Meowth,

Yes, you had some of us wondering. Thank you for correcting your email address. I sent you an email.

  51. Dear Barry,

Dr. Giacchino is free to sue whomever he wants to. And so is his amazing wife. He already filed a defamation counterclaim against me a couple of years ago when I filed my action against him. He filed a false complaint stating that I was being dishonest when I indicated that he was indicted on felony counts once upon a time, which cost him his medical license for 2-years. After I exposed him to the court as a fraud, he withdrew his complaint. However, he immediately refiled a new claim for some other garbage. He has yet to lift a finger to prosecute the suit. I imagine we will get to it eventually. Perhaps he will amend it to include tonight’s comments. I dare him to. He already sued me once falsely. Unlike my suits that have been dismissed for statute of limitations issues. Giacchino withdrew his suit against me because it was certainly fraudulent. Giacchino inferred that he forgot he was indicted and suspended when he verified his initial complaint against me. What a joke.

As I said once upon a time, no one will bring a valid action of libel against me, because I speak the truth. Several millionaires have decided to ignore the assertions that I have made against them – not because I am lucky, but because I am truthful.

I believe Giacchino filed something so he could say he filed something.

  52. Dear Barry,

Now that I think about it, Giacchino would most likely have to include his wife as a co-plaintiff in order to amend his complaint to include tonight’s comments, since they are about her. I doubt he will want a convicted felon on his complaint with him. The question is will Giacchino’s wife file a suit against me. I think she will file one right after DiFronzo files his.

  53. You’ve missed the point, entirely. If you go back through our back-and-forth, you’ll see that you’ve simply missed the larger point of this whole exchange.

  54. The court calls case # 10 L xyz123, Maria Luisa Gil Giacchino vs. Joseph Fosco & KTF Media Group for libel.

Ladies and gentlemen, of the jury, as plaintiff’s lawyer, I ask that you not pay attention to Mrs. Giacchino’s exotic look, her capped teeth and breast augmentations. Aside from this youthful looking woman, there is a sophisticated mother inside. Please have mercy for this woman. Yes, she is a convicted drug dealer. Yes, she has appeared nude in magazines and on video while behaving erotically. However, Fosco is wrong for saying so. Please find the defendant guilty ass charged.

    I think not.

  55. Harry, you forgot that she is married to a man over 30-years older. Could that be a sign of prostitution in itself? I wonder if the jury would see it this way. Of course, the jury would have to set those thoughts aside, right?

  56. Joe, if you will pardon me, I would like to touch upon something raised in Barry’s Balls’ 9:28 p.m. comment.

    Dear Barry’s Balls,

If you are even considering calling the Abominable Doktor’s Melrose Park Clinic, one thing you will need to prepare yourself for is the possibility of receiving a generous dose of invective, compliments of the woman who answers the telephones. If you are squeamish or have a vivid imagination but still feel that you must proceed with your machinations, I implore you to contact Giacchino’s lawyer’s office. Do NOT contact the clinic directly. Trust me. I speak from experience.

    You will thank me later.

    Postscript:

I might add that you should strongly consider changing the name you have chosen to publicly identity yourself on this website. It strikes me, and perhaps others, as being weird, inappropriate, and revolting.

  57. why would dr. g care if that video is on here? she was playmate of the month in june of ’98. millions of men have seen her naked. plus, that’s not even porn. a naked woman isn’t porn – even if it’s available via “hardsextube” or whatever.

you guys are on here calling her a prostitute. that’s despicable for a so-called “‘catholic” blog. remember what happens in the new testament when the crowd of angry people are going to stone the prostitute to death?

  58. Dear Paul,
Yes, this started as a Catholic blog; however, it has obviously changed. Too bad. I never wanted to deviate from Catholicism. However, my past was hard to avoid and it changed the theme. Please understand that no one is attempting to murder a prostitute here, not that I am aware. I would hope you would call the police if that were what you think.

  59. obviously, i don’t think anyone is attempting to murder a prostitute on your blog. i’m not that dim, and i’m guessing that’s not what you thought i was really getting at. you and your readers are “stoning” her in the court of public opinion. the theme of the stoning scene from the new testament was “let he who is without sin, cast the first stone.” do you still not understand my point?

  60. Paul, all this talk about prostitutes and points being made reminds me of a few things.

It was in the earlier part of 2003; Dr. Giacchino met the lovely Maria Luisa Gil. Right near the Melrose Park Clinic, was a little leather repair shop owned by a man that Giacchino referred to as his Nigger (excuse my language; I am merely restating the facts). His real name was Billy. Most of us called him Shoe Shine Billy because he shined our shoes often. According to Giacchino, Billy owed him 10-grand on a business deal. Because of Billy’s debt to Giacchino, Billy would try to redeem himself whenever he could. Billy was aware that Giacchino loved dating prostitutes.

One day Maria Gil entered Billy’s leather repair shop hoping to sell her soon to be ex-husbands fluorescent purple leather suit for $40.00. She was having a tough time making ends meet then, she had recently been released from the federal pen on drug charges. Good thing for Maria, Billy was quick to call Giacchino informing him of his find – Maria Gil. Of course, Giacchino dropped his medical instruments to do something more important like meeting another young exotic woman in need of money. Sure enough, Giacchino and Gil met and exchanged phone numbers.

Within approximately one month, Gil was living in Giacchino’s downtown penthouse loft. Within a couple of more weeks, Gil was presented with an American Express charge card in her name (under Giacchino’s account of course). Shortly after that, Maria was gifted with a multi carrot diamond ring and a brand new Mercedes Benz SL 500 – not bad for a couple of months of work. Rich men do these things all the time – I am not suggesting these gifts were payment for sex. We will let the jury decide if I am falsely accused of libel.

By July of 2003, Giacchino asked me how well I know DiFronzo’s legal eagle Casciato. I asked him if he meant Cook County Judge Joe N. Casciato. Giacchino said, ‘yes.” My response was where do you want me to start? Casciato’s father was one of Mr. Accardo’s doctors. He grew up in Oak Park, Illinois. He currently lives in the western suburbs. I met him thru Buddy Ciotti several years ago. Casciato told me that Accardo reached out to the (infamous) First Ward in the early 1980’s and had him appointed to the bench. Casciato was one of the youngest judges ever appointed to the bench in Cook County. I know that Casciato has traveled with DiFronzo a number of times to the Kentucky Derby. Casciato acquainted me with Dennis Savard on numerous occasions. And, according to Casciato, I know that he orchestrated an opportunity to preside over a civil case relating to DiFronzo in order to figure out how to help DiFronzo. In other words, “yes, I know Casciato fairly well.”

Giacchino asked me to talk to Casciato for advice on an immigration matter. Apparently, Giacchino’s then girlfriend, Maria Gil, wished to visit Cuba, however with her status as a convicted felon, she would not be allowed back in the United States. I agreed to speak to Casciato. I was eager to come thru with a referral before Maria Gil’s former prosecutor would come thru. According to Maria Gil, she remained in contact with one of the prosecutors that convicted her. To this day, I find it very odd. Anyway, the prosecutor purportedly wanted Gil to hire a friend of his to do the immigration work that she was seeking (my referral would come thru first).

Upon meeting with Casciato on the immigration matter, he informed me that he has a solid contact with a former INS official that was recently working as an immigration judge. Casciato indicated this person was in the process or just finished the process of being installed as a federal judge in Chicago – U.S. District Judge Samuel Der-Yeghiayan. Casciato was unhappy that his retirement from the bench was scheduled for the following year because he would of loved to work for the generous Dr. Giacchino (that dream eventually came true).

Casciato told me to advise Giacchino to retain an attorney named Michael B. Cohen for the job. Which I did. Cohen insisted on being paid a 10-thousand dollar retainer. In fact, the Giacchino’s might have just been married by this time. I believe Giacchino wrote two checks to Cohen. One check was paid to Cohen’s wife for 7-thousand dollars and the other to Cohen for $3,000.00. According to Cohen, he was avoiding some tax problems.

Unfortunately, for Gil, she ultimately learned that nothing could be done to help her at that time because Cuba and the U.S. have an agreement that is in place. Gil is a Cuban nationalist. The only thing we learned is that Casciato believes that he and Cohen have a special connection to Der-Yeghiayan.

I eventually introduced Giacchino and Casciato one night over dinner. Today, they are engaged in litigation with me. It is strange, with all the personal information I have shared thru KTF about Casciato, prior to this comment thread, coupled with the current litigation concerning Giacchino, Casciato remains my friend (whether he is sincere or not is another thing).

Michael B. Cohen is the attorney that Giacchino ultimately forced upon me for a particular matter with Vasselli. Apparently, Cohen could not afford to refund Giacchino’s legal fee on the failed immigration project, therefore, Giacchino allowed me to use the credit he had with Cohen towards the Vasselli matter. Giacchino was eager to get Vasselli. I never judged Cohn then, I thought he was a nice person until recently.

I pray that Giacchino is brought to justice sooner rather than later.

I find it interesting how memories can flow like a stream of water.

  61. Dear emailer,
Give me a valid email address, and I will be glad to share my opinion on the “Maxwell’s.”

  62. Please explain your 11:56 a.m. comment.
What are we gonna do with you, Joe Fosco? You’re lucky the internet is an unorganized and unregulated place. This nonsense wouldn’t fly in the real world. You know, this is eerily similar to your Eternal Flame article when a Concerned Catholic Patient of Dr. Giacchino accused you of turning the “article from a painting to a whole story of what Dr. G has supposedly been doing in his past and some of his present accusations.”

  63. Barry
Sounds to me like your handle should be Barry’s blue balls. Another words get laid. Explain to me what regulation of the internet could possibly restrict Joe Fosco’s free speech rights? Where is the real world you speak of? China where citizens access to internet is “regulated and organized.”

    You are a bore.

  64. Fred,

I was finished, but I’ll bite.

I suppose what I meant is that bloggers are not held to any standards whatsoever; if they were, people like Joe Fosco would be completely without a platform. I actually quite like the fact that the internet is chaotic, and Joe should like it even more because he gets to say whatever he wants, even if he’s unaware of the fact that he makes himself look like an ignoramus. As for my real world remark, I meant the publishing industry. Sorry if that wasn’t entirely clear.
Read the thread, rather than just my last comment, and you’ll see that Joe is running amok, saying unqualified, libelous things. (In other words, it’s just business as usual for him.) He has called this woman a prostitute and “current drug dealer” without substantiating his claim—even though he says that he has evidence. I’d like to think that any reasonable person would find that objectionable, but apparently not.

You are a stump-dumb, blithering idiot and defender of nonsense.

    G’night.

  65. Well I guess you can go back to reading the New York Slimes – watching MSLSD or CNN/China news network? or wherever you seem to believe there is journalism on a level that is held to your standard.

As far as Joe many credible news stories orginate from the work of bloggers. I guess if the mainstream media did its job these bloggers would not get advertising or readers for their sites would they?

As for the publishing industry are not unauthorized biographies routinely published with information and accusations based on only interviews and 2nd and 3rd hand sources?

I have not reread the thread again nevertheless I have read other articles by Joe about what you have mentioned and find him credible.

But as for specific evidence he does not owe me or future book banner Barry’s balls a detailed explanation when he is involved in litigation with those mentioned.

I normally don’t resort to petty name calling but your handle is irksome and I believe you meant just what you said in your 355 comment.

How was Chris Matthews tonight or do you watch Rachel Madcow?

    Good night smuck.

  66. Dear Fred,
I appreciate your honesty, reasonability and willingness to speak out. Thank you.
    JF

  67. Baritone Flatus on

dear “”fart on a horsey boner””

you are a racist. go harass others. NOT ME.

    ps: your name is sick

  68. Fred,

I’m not going to get into a battle of wits with you; I never attack anyone who’s unarmed.

I notice that you spelled “schmuck” wrong. Nicely done.

You have no idea what you’re talking about, Fred. You have absolutely no insight into my life with your claims that I am follower of liberal media outlets and journalists. (I had a good laugh at that, thanks.) And thank you for at least admitting that you’re not going to reread the thread again.
It’s good to know the type of person I’m dealing with here.
You’ve stated that “unauthorized biographies are routinely published with information and accusations based on only interviews and 2nd and 3rd hand sources.” While that may be true to some extent, there are still some standards in publishing such material. That notwithstanding, such books and exposes are often considered gossip and trash and not worth the crappy, mass market paper they’re printed on, anyway. Such books are often at the center of high-profile libel suits, as well, which is why I’m giving Joe a hard time about his approach to reporting.

I never said all bloggers are irresponsible, or worthless, or whatever. In fact–and you’ll like this–my favorite journalists are the ones blogging for the Atlantic, which is a conservative publication. Well what do you know?

Fred, seriously, which thread have you been reading, anyway? Surely not this one.

I’ll try being nicer if you’ll try being smarter.

  69. This afternoon, I witnessed Rudy Fratto’s four children, his supposed semi-crippled wife and him plead with the judge for leniency. I feel sorry for the family. According to them Rudy is a good dad. The defense was seeking home confinement. However, the judge was not moved by the family’s words (I was wrong about my earlier prediction). Therefore, Rudy Fratto, Jr, was sentenced to 1 year and 1 day to the United States Bureau of Prisons. Rudy’s turn in date is April 28, 2010. However, Rudy’s attorney, Art Nasser hinted that more time would be requested later. I plan to write an article on this matter this evening. It will include the threats that were made to me today by Fratto.

  70. Correction: One of Rudy’s children did not speak today (his oldest daughter). Three of his children and his wife spoke. I am sorry.

  71. Dear Readers:

My sources have informed me that Dr. Giacchino’s clinics were (purportedly) recently raided by the FBI. Can anyone share information on this topic, please?

  72. Joe, I’ve just come across your site by a fluke. I have a very serious question to ask. I’d appreciate no one being sarcastic please. I unfortunately have records in both offices. RG & MP clinics. I am curently trying to get all my medical files from both offices. There are two women who work under this man. A woman who is supposed to be in charge of records named Jo and the other is suppossedly a supervisor named Marie. Marie is a horrible woman and Jo is always ‘just left the office’ til today, the newest comment from a receptionist today saying she is only in the clinic in RG on Tues from 9-12p and Thurs at MP at whatever time they won’t give. I have been trying to get my records only get told they’re not here. I only wanted MY doctor, Demerest, to get my complete files. The request was for RG to send my daughters and my files to Demerest’s new office. Marie was contacted at MP with me getting to that they only have a record dating in 2006 in my file with Dr. Valerino who wasnt even there anymore. I last saw Demerest. She said they didn’t keep my file. I told her that I know you have my daughter’s file, I just saw it in Sept for school issues. I told her how the request was faxed for the release of our records with nothing being done. my daughter’s was a thick one. After being hung up on, I call my Dr. office and was informed that records are to be held onto for 7 yrs. So where is my files from these offices. I called that Marie back and told her so and I also asked to speak to Giacchino. He doesn’t take calls. What kind of Dr. does’nt take care of his patients issues? After being hung up again, I told her that she will be the reason Giacchino loses his licence. That I would be getting a lawyer. After reading everything you and others have posted, I’m blown away. I’m asking you what do you suggest for me to get my medical records. This is illegal! Some of the ex employees think that she could have destroyed our records. That these women left that clinic due to her and hinted it was more than that. Where should I begin??? Please, I really need some help. Thank you.

  73. Demorest, my appologies for the misspelling. I’m just a bit upset by the whole day of dealing with this horrible clinic.

  74. Joseph Fosco on

    Dear Yo,

    I feel your pain.

Bad news is – according to my sources – the DEA is not going to pursue charges against Giacchino.

Good news is – according to my sources – the State of Illinois will be going after his medical license very soon.

I suggest that you call Illinois Medical Investigator Dan Murphy. A phone number to reach Murphy is (312) 814-4500. Murphy’s office actually moved to the Des Plaines location, however, someone at the Chicago office could give you his direct line. I would have called for you, but it is after business hours right now, obviously.

  75. Okay, so what can Dan Murphy do to help my situation?
Just curious, why aren’t they going to?

  76. Joseph Fosco on

    Dear Yo,

Murphy might call Giacchino on your behalf. He might get results for you.

I am not sure what your second question pertains to.

  77. Why isn’t the DEA going to pursue charges?
Let him know that there are files at both offices to retrieve if you can. That Marie is hardnosed and something I just don’t trust. She has my full name and is going to try and pull something I’m sure. I will have my Dr. office refax requests to both places again and see what happens. I’m just thinking that there is alot more truth than what you’ve even stated about that place. I wouldn’t put it past them to light up everyones files in flames to prevent the many clients of Dr. Demorest’s from getting their medical records. Something is definately being covered up in that place. They didnt even want to give me the last names of those women. It was the ex employees that gave them to me greatfully. Could a lawsuit be filed to get my records? What’s your opinion?

  78. Joseph Fosco on

    Dear Yo,

I insist that you contact Murphy.

Yes, you can likely file a suit. Get in touch with me thru my email address (jfosco@ktfmediagroup.com); I will give you the name of a lawyer that you should consider using. Thanks.

  79. Thank you! I will call Murphy in the morning and email you what happens. I will send you a differant email address for you to contact me at. One that isn’t so active so that I receive you message with priority. I appreciate your help. Again, thank you Joe. 🙂

  80. Thank you Joe. I called and spoke with him today. He’s going to try to help me out with this during their business hours. He gave me good some good advice. I’m hoping this works out.

  81. Joseph Fosco on

    Dear Yo,

Yes, I received your email too. I hope it works out for you. Good thing you are seeing Dr. Demorest now, in my opinion he is a much better doctor than Giacchino. And it looks like Giacchino will not be practicing medicine much longer.
