As school begins for students this month, we must take a minute to remind ourselves of the importance of educating our children. Whether or not we have children of our own we should consider how we could help children enhance their education.
Some children have a natural gift when it comes to academics, and others could use the gift of tutoring. No matter the circumstance, children living within compromised conditions must be taught the importance of an education. I ask all of you to please do something during this ‘back-to-school’ season to reach out and help children understand that childhood is very short, and that receiving an education at a young age makes a tremendous difference. Without a good education it will be a terrible uphill struggle for these young people to establish themselves in life.
St. Mary of the Angels School in Chicago currently has intimate class sizes, which makes a serious difference with students that need a little extra attention, as well as for students that could turn this intimate atmosphere into an opportunity to advance academically much faster.
