What happened? Evidently The Castle Guy’s ability to keep his word must be as good as his company’s F rating at the Better Business Bureau. According to Betty, approximately 2-weeks ago she engaged in an oral contract with Tony Castle. In their agreement, she was to provide advertisement for the Castle dealerships. In exchange, she would receive an automobile – regardless if she sold cars as an actual salesperson or not. In addition, Betty was going to take a position as a salesperson for a salary and commission. Tony Castle provided the automobile and Betty provided Tony Castle’s dealerships with a litany of plugs via numerous televised, radio, and print media outlets in the Chicago area.
As it turned out, Betty’s plug of Castle Buick made it even farther that anyone had hoped. My friend Donny Johnson, all the way from the Palm Beach, Florida area, told me that he saw Betty advertise for Castle on WGN.
Now that the original deal is out the window, it is uncertain if Castle will renege on the car and attempt to take it back now that he got what he wanted, namely all the new publicity.
Tony Castle is obviously a smart businessperson. One does not own a number of car dealerships because of stupidity. Yes, Castle probably inherited the business from his late father (who was a dear friend of my family), but it takes someone with brains to maintain things. Why would a smart businessperson knowingly breach an oral contract? I think I know the real answer.

I thought Castle was an old party liner – he always seems to be shooting dirty looks at people he hardly knows.
Joe,
How terrible for her…Yes it is very tough to get a job when you have a felony conviction and to be misled…shame on those people.
Mr. Castle is your typical car dealer sales person FULL of s__t! Betty, keep your head up, SHAME on people like TONY.
What a load of crap! I hate politics, liars and a**holes who make promises and then leave you in the wind. Betty needs to kick some A** and take names!
What a total coward! Hey tony, Ever hear of the FBI. I didn’t think so. They protect people like you. Don’t know why, but they do. Give Betty her chance. Be a man!
