In the wake of the Supreme Court’s decision on honest services statute, Conrad Black has made another plea to be released from jail pending his re-sentencing. The following document, prepared by Black’s lawyer Miguel Estrada, outlines their case. The court is supposed to rule on this matter by the 15th of July. All our hopes and prayers go out to Mr. Black. Hopefully the gross miscarriage of justice that put him in jail can now be remedied.
