Pornography, Prostitution and Drugs: Maria Luisa Gil – Giacchino

“Melissa Farley in Pornography: Driving the Demand in International Sex Trafficking writes, Interviews with 854 women in prostitution in nine countries…made it clear that pornography is integral to prostitution. In nine countries, almost half (49%) told us that pornography was made of them while they were in prostitution. Forty-seven percent of our respondents were upset by tricks’ attempts to make them do what the tricks had previously seen in pornography.

“Martin Monto and Nick McRee, in their research published in International Journal of Offender Therapy and Comparative Criminology wrote, Repeat users reported greater participation in all aspects of the sex industry than did non-customers. They were much more likely to report having purchased sexually explicit magazines or videos, and they were more than twice as likely to have visited nude establishments.” (source)

“Drugs and prostitution are related in that some drug addicts, most commonly heroin or crack cocaine users, obtain their drugs primarily through prostitution. They may receive money (which is used to pay for drugs), or they may receive the drug in trade for sex. Such addicts most commonly take part in street prostitution, as they typically lack the resources to work independently from a flat or be escort prostitutes, and many brothels do not want to employ visible drug users.

“The stereotype of a drug addict who uses prostitution to finance his/her habit, particularly for prostitutes who are crack cocaine users (often called “crack whores” or “Blueberries”) is of someone whose health and perhaps intellect have been damaged by drug abuse, and who will accept any client for very little payment. They are often assumed to have frequent unsafe sex without contraception.

“Street drug dealing and prostitution are often closely related, with many street-level drug dealers also acting as pimps and vice versa.

“It is notable that in affluent countries such as the United States and Western Europe the correlation between street prostitution and illegal drug use is high. In contrast, many prostitutes in the developing world are primarily motivated by the need for subsistence earnings for themselves or dependents. However, drugs and prostitution are increasingly becoming connected in urban areas in the developing world, for example in urban areas in Karachi and Thailand.

Not all prostitutes who use recreational drugs are driven to prostitution by their habit, but the two subcultures are still closely linked, perhaps as much because of their shared illegality as anything else.” (source)

  1. Please do something about this man!!!
My youngest son who is 25 years old has been sitting in the Cook County jail on a $90,000 bail. He left the so called “Doctors” office with 180 pain pills a few months ago. He was charged with distribution, conspiracy and all this other stuff. They are really sticking it to him/us for the Dr’s bad ethic.

We do not have the money to bring him home and he has a wife and a new born baby at home. It is so hard for her.

Supposedly the prosecutors want to work a deal out with him in exchange for his testimony, but he is scared to testify.

It is great to see he can not give medications out of his clinic anymore, but by now it is a little to late. The insane thing is with my son is not where it stops.

About 2 weeks ago my Niece who has been seeing the doctor for a couple of years for a fake injury, which we have just recently found out about. He kept taking money from her because he knew she was dependent and a easy target like most of his drug addict patients.

We’ll she was the next unlucky one in our family. While out at Walgreens the pharmacist was acting funny towards her as she told me while she was picking her medications up.

When she got home the police where waiting for her and now she as well is facing legal problems and she cannot leave the house. Her head is so screwy without the meds. She was lucky, because her husband had the money to bail her out, but the bad side is she is on an ankle monitor and on house arrest.

Please stop him!!!! He’s the one who needs to be in jail not these innocent victims of a greedy man.

If any of his patients are reading this and you don’t have and injury and are just seeking a high I would highly advise you to seek drug abuse treatment before you find yourself in serious legal trouble.

He ran my niece around in circles lately too. He made her get an MRI on her back when she really didn’t have problems just to cover up his trail. He told her he has been treating her so long and he needed an MRI on record.

They are going all out on this mans patients so help yourself out if the medication is not needed, believe me they somehow know. Just look what they did to my family.

Some Merry Xmas for me and my family thanks to this doctor. I wonder how many more families he has ruined because of his greed!!!

PLEASE PUT AN END TO THIS AND HIM BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE!!!!!

P.S. I am glad I found this site to get my story out. I have been too embarrassed to talk about this with friends and other members of my family

  2. you forget to mention the brother in law and brother to Maria Louisa Gil, Lazaro Rodriguez is a convicted bank robber who works for this corrupt clinic as a “collector”. He robbed his former employer TCF Bank of an amount greater than $14,000 that he pleaded guilty on all charges

  3. Dear Mike,
Thanks for the information. However, I am well aware of Lazaro and his history. The problem is that so many points of interest (all of them negative) pertain to Dr. Giacchino , that I simply cannot find the time to expand on all of them. We have to let the FBI do something to earn their salary.
    Thanks,
    Joseph Fosco

  4. I am on to you Chumpman! on

Sam Chapman of Empower Public Relations, in my opinion, is not half of the sales person that his wife, Dr. Laura Berman is (Berman sells sex toys – Chapman sells reputations).
I just read Chapman’s comments left under the article titled ‘Is Empower Public Relations A Naïve Firm Or Plain Old Deceitful?’ published by KTF Media Group. According to Chapman’s blog comments, he has done a great job of showing us how low he can go. I think the article is dead on!
    P.S.
I love the person that called Chapman ‘Sum Chumpman’

  5. Man, what a load of crap this post was. This isn’t an “article”, you basically wrote about something you claim you saw that may have been someone offering to buy her services, or maybe not. You know what, I’m going to guess that you never actually had dinner with her and her husband, I think that you probably never met them in your life, you just made that part up. Any asshole can claim they saw something.

As if that’s not enough, you then you shoot off on a complete tangent and pad this meaningless garbage post with supposed facts about porn and drugs like there are actually connected together with Maria Luisa Gil. Her drug trafficking had absolutely nothing to do with the fact that she posed for Playboy, which by the way is hardly considered “pornography” anymore.

    • If you do not like what I write, do not read my articles. Please keep in mind that the Giacchino’s elected not to sue me within the one-year statute of limitations (i contend that I would have won because I write about the truth). Thank you.

  6. I never made a pass at Maria Gil Giacchino, she is not my style, and however, I would agree that she is a beautiful woman. In addition I have never been diagnosed with the ailment that you described and make every conscious effort to keep it that way. Thank you for your opinion. Keep reading American News Post. Good day.
