How many people pipe dream? My main point is that talk is talk and, when conducted in confidence with an ally, talk can become unrealistic and silly (in other words harmless). The best way to describe what Blagojevich said about Obama’s Senate Seat is unrealistic and silly.
I hate to say it, but I think that law enforcement might silently agree with me on the unrealistic and silly theory. Law enforcement intentionally apprehended Blagojevich prior to the actual deal going down, which is highly counterproductive to the goal of catching bad people. Think about it, when detectives follow thugs who purchase drugs, the goal is to catch the buyer and the seller together. In this case, law enforcement seems to be more interested in Blagojevich and not the corrupt person who was getting ready to pay the alleged bribe. So this must mean that law enforcement might have been convinced that Blagojevich’s conversations were merely unrealistic and silly ranting. They knew that nothing would come from these conversations, which is why there was no reason to wait for the corrupt politico to come forward with a bribe. There was no bribe on its way!

Mr. Fosco,
You make a great deal of sense, let me ask you, does Conrad Black have an opinion on this topic?
Yes, my friend Conrad Black shares an opinion this matter. In fact, he has allowed me to review a draft that he is currently publishing on the Daily Beast. I encourage you to check it out (it is brilliant). If it is not published as of yet, it will be very soon.
