Tough Economic Times… That’s Life!

I’ve been a puppet, a pauper, a pirate,
A poet, a pawn and a king.
I’ve been up and down and over and out
And I know one thing:
Each time I find myself, flat on my face,
I pick myself up and get back in the race.

Frank Sinatra sure could lift people during tough economic times. His words are full of solace for me, so I decided to share them with you. The Chairman of the Board knew that bad times don’t last forever, which is my message to you today. All the people out there who are out there suffering, you are not alone.

2009 is the first year in many years that I have yet to personally make a better than average charitable donation. It upsets me that, right now, I cannot. My personal financial picture is somewhat compromised, for the first time in a long time. Aside from all the years of being extorted by the Mob, today’s weak economy has also taken its toll on me.

If it were not for the sad passing of Michael Jackson, there is no telling when Sony Records could have offered overtime hours to their warehouse employees. I have talked to people that are on salary who are getting more and more frustrated with the amount of hours their employers are making them work without being paid for overtime. My gardeners and cleaning women are starting to give me ideas on how to bring in some extra money.

I cannot wait to see the look on their faces when I ask them for a part-time job.

I am a relatively new businessman, endeavoring to reach total financial independence, something I have never attempted to achieve (my family has been good to me). It’s all new to me and I hope to be successful. KTF Media Group does produce revenue from its Google ads, but it is a very modest income.

  1. WONDERING YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE CITYS REFUSAL TO ALLOW A WALMART IN CHATAM: $5M IN ANNUAL TAX REVENUE, 200-300 JOBS, A PLACE TO BUY CHEAP QUALITY PRODUCTS & FOOD INCLUDING FRESH PRODUCE AS THIS IS NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. WHEN WILL THE CHICAGO DEMOCRATIC PLANTATION STOP PAYING LIP SERVICE AND PRACTICING SOCIAL ENGINEERING? AND START ENACTING POLICIES THAT WILL ASCEND THE POOR RATHER THAN MAINTAIN THIS PERPETUAL WELFARE STATE CYCLE! -WHICH FOR SOME REASON KEEPS VOTING FOR THE DEMOCRATIC PLANTATION AGAIN AND AGAIN.

    Dear Mr. White,
My thoughts on Daley in general are not good. My thoughts on Chicago’s Democratic machine are not good (and a union official raised me).
The other day I received a call from an automated attendant conducting a survey on the Walmart matter in Chicago. In all honestly, I knew very little about it at the time, however, I answered ‘yes’ that I am for it, not against it. When I was giving my answer the thought that came to mind was, ‘why would any reasonable person be against business development’?
    Sincerely,
    JF
