A Man Who Loved His Family –A Requiem For Biagio “Steve” Fagiano

Sometimes Pops was fast asleep taking a catnap while waiting for his precious little ones.

The true beauty of it would come alive every time – day after day – when Pops’ eyes would light up when he would see his beautiful grandchildren looking for him. To me Pops looked like a man that could not be happier.

I would later learn that Pops enjoyment of the simple pleasures with his little ones did not end with his dedication to the daily car rides. When Pops was not engaged in picking Steven and Nicole up from school, he would entertain them on fishing trips or by watching cartoons with them on the weekends. Spending an afternoon in the garage with Steven and Nicole while Pops would tool around with some sort of project would be one of the simplest pleasures this family would enjoy. Because of the love each of them had for each other (and still do), simple things were all that was needed for Steven and Nicole to share in the mutual experience with Pops that was very warming and loving.
