Hi everyone! It’s Mike Mags with ANP’s Sports Podcast for July 9, 2013. Today’s show is not quite as long as some of our recent shows. One, we were on a tight schedule today. Two, there is not a great deal of excitement in sports going on right now. However, we spiced up things a bit with a brief behind the scenes segment where I shared a short story about my late pals Jackie Cerone and Tony “Joe B” Accardo. I hope you enjoy it. Speaking of “behind the scenes,” I wish to remind you of some of our old “behind the scenes” in article form. I believe those pieces would begin by clicking right here.

On behalf of American News Post, I would like to thank our audience for tuning into our new Sports Podcast. In addition, I would like to extend a special thanks to our loyal supporters who have shared (and continue to share) information with us on a discrete basis. Please see the example in the photo to the right of the dedication some of our supporters have. Someone was actually brave enough to get us a photo of Outfit Boss John DiFronzo’s man convicted Outfit thug Marco D’Amico having a meeting with imprisoned Outfit Capo Joseph Lombardo’s man Christy Spina. Said photo was taken approximately within the last year (credit: T. Tenderpony).

Sincerely,
Joseph Fosco

  1. Hi Michael–Loves the stories you tell on these podcasts. Can you tell us about the time you met John Gotti in Florida or perhaps any other run-ins with east coast guys?

    • Dear Logic,
Michael thanks you for your comment and will address the Gotti think next week. Sorry we did not read your comment in time for todays show, which was already recorded. Check it out this evening when its published. He tells another story.

  2. Who is who>?? ANd didn’t you describe Spina as the most dangerous still on the street other then that Polish guy. Again im just recalling stuff I thoguth I read of yours, not going off my knowledge or anything.

    • Alan, no, I never accused Spina of any of the such. The Polish guy, yes. However, Porky, is no longer in action. Last I heard, his health had gotten the best of him. Al Vena might be the person you are trying to recall.
