Hi everyone! This is Mike Mags with today’s ANP Sports Podcast.
Frank Coconate and I were able to reach an understanding on our issues that were exploited in our last podcast. Therefore, we were able to do today’s sports show. As to our Behind the Scenes piece, I hope you enjoy hearing about my experience with John Gotti in the bathroom on my 25th Birthday, while vacationing in Florida. In addition, I did some Anthony (Joe B) Accardo impersonations for you. I hope you have a good laugh.

I wish to correct that I meant to say St. Vincent’s, not St. Luke’s, when I was naming a place during the Podcast linked above.
Gotti was a buffoon. I am not sure anyone was ever impressed with him. I enjoyed Michael’s story, though. Who were/are Chucky “the Head” and “Big Phil?”

I can tell you that if he could perhaps tell more JB stories or elaborate on the Outfit’s relationship with NYC or other east coast families, readers will flock to this site. Would Michael be willing to indicate whether any of the New York “families” ever had any dealings with the Outfit early in his career? (Here, I am referring the era safely past the stature of limitations.)

Could Michael live with it if he had his sports show with behind the scenes segment, while Frank, on a separate ANP podcast (not involving Michael), exposed corruption, harassed criminals, and named names? I enjoy Frank’s schtick as much as Michael’s.

I do not see why Michael would even care to weigh in on any additional show that ANP would produce. In fact, Frank and I have been planning something as you have suggested.
In all sincerity, I admire Michael’s efforts to go legit, despite his past and personal obstacles. He seems like a nice fella, and, listening to him talk, it’s hard to imagine him hanging out with goons twice his age. It’s sad, really. Tell him Horsey Fart from the internet is pulling for him, for what it’s worth.

Agree with HF…really hoping you guys do an Outfit based podcast. I understand why Mags prefers to not discuss the matters as he likely still has personal relations with these people. As a sidenote…Joe, a friend of mind lives a block from the Huron Athletic Club. Any idea if its the West Side/GAC social club, as its rumored to be?
