Why should the Chinese take us seriously if all we ignore the major issues for some little ones? I can only imagine how much the Politburo laughed when this decision came down the wire. Look, America is nay on the currency manipulation charge, but yea on the unfair subsidy charge. Like the Chinese care about the toothless complaints of an American union organization. China has already taken all of the steel manufacturing jobs, so they must figure the USW has nothing left to do anymore but whine.
Hey USW, you want your members’ jobs back? You want to keep China from threatening your bottom line and underpaying their domestic steel workers? How about you drop this BS and instead pressure the DNC to do something about Chinese currency manipulation. While I doubt you care much about the plight of the Chinese steel worker, I’m sure your own paychecks concern you greatly. There’s no better way to hit China hard than to make them peg their currency like the rest of us.
