KTF Media Group Celebrates One Year On The Internet

“I do believe that Conrad will contribute more of his literary work to our publication. Conrad Black named KTF. He has provided a great deal of inspiration to our writers, much like Bishop Lyne and Cardinal George.”

As with most friendships, there is a degree of playfulness and rivalry between Mr. Fosco and Mr. Black. “Conrad, who we all know was once among the top three media moguls in the world, occasionally teases me about my publication being small. He jokes with me and points out that KTF has a rather small viewer base, being just over 100,000 since May 2008. Of course we all take it in stride, and hope to expand with his help in the years to come.”

Expansion is on the minds of the prime players behind KTF Media Group, according to Mr. Sharp. “We’ve worked recently with a very talented local artist to design our logo and we’re hoping to use him more and more in the year to come. KTF Media Group wants to expand in as many directions as possible.”

A recent redesign for the publication site and new graphics, including a unique logo meant to evoke the Catholic roots of the organization, are just the beginning. “Well, we have experimented with radio, via Relevant Radio (a Chicago-based religious station), and I think it would be interesting to expand in that direction. My very talented Senior Editor co-hosted a radio show with me last fall. Video feeds on You Tube will also be something that I see KTF doing in the next year.”

While new avenues of expansion are a major concern for KTF, the tried and true methods of the past are certainly not going to fall by the wayside. Mr. Fosco is pushing harder than ever to recruit the best writers across the country and beyond. “I most certainly have something to say to new contributors. Send us your work and show us your talent. We welcome fresh talent all of the time. If all goes well, we should be offering a scholarship program in the future for aspiring writers. So, you better get involved and build a relationship with us so we can be there for you when our scholarship program is ready.”

Congratulations on your one year anniversary KTF Media Group. May it be the first of many to come.

  1. Why didn’t Mr. Fosco show up for his trial against Dr. Giacchino? 08 L 002162. Cook County Law Division. Case dismissed on the eve of trial for want of prosecution. It is a valid question that deserves an answer. Mr. Fosco made a lot of noise about the Doctor in his columns. But when it came time to prove it, he was nowhere to be found. What’s up with that Mr. Fosco?

    • Dear Mike,

Thank you for your concern. I am not sure about which of the two suits in state court you are referring to that I filed against Giacchino. One was for malpractice and the other was for privacy breaches. I voluntarily dismissed the malpractice suit because it would have cost me over one hundred thousand in legal expenses (I was Pro Se, but needed to hire a lawyer that specialized in med mal). However, as to the privacy suit, I was unable to adequately respond to Giacchino’s motion for summary judgment because on one of the days that I had court, ‘someone’ threatened me that if I went to court I would be killed (of course this is a matter of record). Instead of going to court that day, I worked with the authorities. Unfortunately, I am unable to go into details as the judicial matters between Giacchino and I are not over, despite how things may appear right now. Again, thank you for your concern.

In the interest of fairness, one should ask why Giacchino voluntarily dismissed his lawsuit against me for defamation (I know why, because everything that I have written about him is true). No one threatened him before his court date.

      • Dear Mr. Fosco

I was referring to the intentional tort suit you filed for $2.6 million dollars under docket no. 08 L 002162. Which I clearly cited in my post. So I’m not sure what you are unsure about.

I guess your position would be that you abandoned your law suit because you were threatened. Tough to dispute. Also tough to believe. It has the feel of a paranoid fantasy. If you are telling the truth. Good luck to you.

        • Dear Mike,
Right, one case number but several counts. The med mal portion was voluntarily dismissed. The privacy portion was dismissed because of the threat that had been made; however, the identity of the perpetrator remained under investigation. Evidence of the threat is irrefutable and was verified. Unfortunately, I am not at liberty to go into details at this time. Yes, of course I am telling the truth. Thank you for the ‘good luck’ wish.
