The Obama’s presidency is littered with examples like this, where time and time again Russia has acted against the interests of the United States, often for no reason other than spite. They do it because they know they can get away with it, that the U.S. and western Europe will simply stand by and let it happen. This steady slide into Russian autocracy will not improve unless Obama finally puts the screws to Putin and his resurgent Soviet dreams.
In other words, prepare for things to get worse.
